Preparation & Aftercare
Before & After Treatment
Pre-Treatment Care
Avoid waxing, plucking, and epilating 2–4 weeks prior; the hair follicle must remain intact at the root
Shave the treatment area with a razor prior to your session; do not pluck or remove the root
Avoid sunbathing and sunbeds for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment
On the day of your session, do not apply perfume, deodorant, or cosmetics to the skin
Avoid bronzing creams and self-tanning products prior to treatment
Post-Treatment Care
Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours
Protect the treated area from the sun; use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30
Apply moisturizing and soothing products; avoid irritating scrubs or chemical peels
Do not pull or force out shedding hair; allow it to fall out naturally
Mild redness is normal and typically subsides within a few hours
